India hope full of a Medal in Rio Paralympic from U.P.’s Varun.
Lucknow: According to a press release by Mr. Munawar Anzar, General Secretary, Indian Blind and Para Judo Association, who is at present in Rio Paralympic Games, U.P.’s para athlete, Varun Singh Bhati, stands a very fair chance of winning a Medal in the Rio Paralympic Games.
At 21 years of age, Varun Singh Bhati, International para athlete in Athletics High Jump has done India proud. Not only is he ranked No. 1 in World Rankings, he also has an Asian Record in his name.
Born in Jamalpur Village, where his father is a sarpanch, while his mother is a home maker. Varun has studied has St. Josephs School, Greater Noida, where he still goes to practise when he is not in Training Camps. At present, he has given his 3rd year Graduation examination from Delhi University in B.Sc. Maths Honours.
Giving credit to his family for all his success, Varun says that he was born for High Jump. Infact he loves jumping. With amazing will power and hard work, Varun, who was a basket ball player earlier, feels that life is all about challenges. You achieve one forget and you should look for another. And the ever present challenge before him is being a Para Athlete, apart from winning championships after championships.

He says- “Make sure you have a goal. Life without goal is worthless. Be focus. Have faith and dont stop until you get it! life is too big to get dishearten at small failures.”
